I think, you can paint it to you well in your imagination if a group of riders gets during a ride in summer in a shower. The horses in the mud wade and everything up to the skin wet. Moreover, the mud by the hoofs of the before trotting horse to one till the body is flung.

shooting pics on horse in rain, darkclouds in heaven, horse, hands n clothes totaly wet n muddy, why this should go? no good result! ... my first pic here was a bad pic!
